Buckingham Choral Society is a friendly local choir of about 90 singers. We are always looking for new singers, especially male voices, to join us. Why not just come along to give it a go and meet new people? Singing is good for your health!
Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place at St. Bernardine’s Catholic Church, Chandos Road, Buckingham, MK18 1AL each Tuesday during school term time from 7.30-9.20pm. Please arrive in good time to allow a prompt 7.30pm start.
We have a break to meet fellow singers and take a refreshment. The provision of teas and coffees is provided.
Concerts
Concerts are usually held 3 times a year at the end of each term. They generally take place on the Saturday evening of the first week in April, July and December at The Church of St Peter and St Paul, Buckingham, subject to availability of the venue.
We perform a wide variety of choral music and engage professional musicians and soloists, when appropriate.
Chamber Choir
This is a smaller group of members who, when needed, come together to sing at small events such as weddings, funerals, private houses and small public places. More information here
